Most people
choose a cell phone because of the "cool" factor or the status
symbol that it represents, but the truth is, all cell phone companies
carry attractive cellular phones. Choosing a carrier and cellular
phone service plan based on the phone
can make for a miserable cellular experience throughout the life of your
contract (which could be up to 2 years). By far the most important
factor you should consider when cell phone shopping, is the cellular
company. After all, you don't want to sacrifice cellular quality,
minutes, or coverage for a neat looking cell phone, right?
So what are some things to look for when looking
to buy a new cellular phone? Here's a good checklist to go
by. Remember to ask questions if you're unsure about anything
before you sign a contract.
1. The number 1 rule to know before you buy a
cell phone, is to shop online. You'll find amazing deals at
places like www.CellularBooth.com
where the high volume of sales and the low overhead of a physical
store and pushy sales people make for a more pleasant and less
expensive buying experience. Sometimes you'll save up to $250 on a
single purchase!
It's also great for a one-stop shopping place
since they offer all the major carriers and all of your favorite cell
phones at a huge discounted price.
2. Keep in mind that recent changes in the law,
which allows you to now switch cellular phone services and
keep your same number, have made the cellular industry more
competitive than ever. You'll find that nearly every company has
some sort of special offer. One company may offer a free cell
phone, while another may give you free minutes. It will definitely
pay of in the long run to look at what every cell phone
company offers.
