Anybody have experience with AT&T refurbished phones and their conditions?

I am going to buy an Iphone 4 from AT&T. I could get the brand new 16GB version for 199 or a refurbished 32GB version for the same price, 199. Is it worth the risk to get the 32GB version, because I don’t want a scratched or scuffed Phone that looks used. Anyone know how AT&T refurbs are, and if they are actually in like new condition as they say? Fees for returns if I wanted to switch to a new 16GB version? Thanks in advance

I say fo for the better model as refurbished. I got a Blackberry Bold 9000 as refurbished from AT&T. The phone looked and worked as if it were new, in every way. I would have had to get an old school Blackberry, had they not been offering these as refurbished. As for an exchange, you are best to ask them directly what the policy on refurbished phones are. You could do so by asking at the AT&T store, their 800 number or via live chat on their website.
